Fun in the Sun!

The house was perfect for our large family. I also loved that it had everything we needed in kitchen such as coffee makes, utensils and two air fryers. I loved that check out was such an easy process and we only had a small check list.

We travel to Phoenix quite often to see family. We will choose to stay at this location from now on. The home feels like a home away from home. It is well cared for and has all the amenities you would need. Melanie and Jason are very helpful and address your questions quickly. It made our trip seamless.

This was our second stay at Stormtroopers Retreat. It’s the perfect size for our large family and has everything we need. I’m sure this will not be our last visit.

We had such a great time here at Melanie & Jason’s house. From the decor in every room to the pool outside, to the towels provided for us and many other features. Their responses when I would message were answered immediately. I loved that! Thank you for the listings of many antique shops. Unfortunately we weren’t able to go see them. We will have to for sure visit them next time we head out here again. Thank you again for such a great memory for all of us. Dolores

My husband and I rented this beautiful home for a week with our grown kids and their families. It was the perfect place. Very clean, the hosts are quick to respond and very friendly and accommodating. So nice to have the pool so close and the trolley service to the beach is so easy! The neighborhood was very pretty as well. Great time at a great place!

Couldn’t have been happier with the Palm N Cactus BNB! We just spent a week there with our two college aged daughters. The home was beautiful, well stocked, close to grocery stores and restaurants. We enjoyed lots of great family time by the pool. Mel and Jason were great and responded quickly with any questions that we had. We cannot wait to start planning our next trip to Arizona and our return stay at the beautiful Palm N Cactus BNB! Dubuque Iowa

This was an amazing place to spend our vacation! My boyfriend and I brought all of our adult children and their significant others. Our first blended family vacation. There were 8 of us total. I was worried about the distance to the beach but it was an easy walk. The beach shuttle was always available but we usually chose to walk. The beach wagon and cooler on wheels were something we used everyday! We could walk from the beach to restaurants. We did not get a car but Uber’ed anywhere we needed to go. Destin commons shopping area was within walking distance. We cooked lots of dinners but also enjoyed the local restaurants. Even without reservations we only waited about 15 minutes. Crab trap, back porch and beauchamps were our favorites. We did crab island and a sunset dolphin cruise. What an amazing vacation. The house is absolutely beautiful! So comfortable and each couple had lots of privacy. Great kitchen, well equipped and we really enjoyed the patios and pool. We will be back!

The home itself is beautifully decorated and laid out. We stayed for a week. It was very comfortable and well appointed with every coffee maker from kuerig to press to drip. There was an ice maker in the fridge which we appreciate. We enjoyed the pool and the outside dining area with the sliding doors, tv and ceiling fans and spend most of our time in the shade because it was very hot. The neighborhood is private and safe but the house is on a corner with a stop so sometimes the traffic was noisy. We had to drive everywhere but we had everything we needed within a 5 - 10 min drive. We spent our days shopping and going out to amazing restaurants as there are so many in the Mesa area. The communication from the host was always clear and prompt. We will definitely stay and recommend this place.

We hosted a mini family reunion with ages from 2-87. There was space for everyone. The pool was great. Proximity to the beach was great. Simple things like overstocked plates, silverware, and cookware was a top tier surprise. We would stay here again. All pros. Few if any cons. Hosts suuuuper responsive.

We had the best time staying at Melanie and Jason’s place! We had a large family group staying with us and we were back and forth to Disney most days. Disney is so easy to get to from their home and it was such a beautiful peaceful home to come back to after a long day. On our couple off days we spent them by the pool and also at the resort pool across the street. Our kids had so much fun and didn’t want to leave. I think the pool and the movie theater were their favorite parts. Melanie and Jason are fantastic hosts and communicate everything with you! They were so responsive with any question and even checked in on us a couple times to ensure we were enjoying our stay and gave recommendations on things to do in the area. I would definitely book again for our next Orlando trip!
